Lidded Basket

Description: Vintage handmade Omani Bedouin lidded basket, with a lizard skin bottom collected in Muscat some 40 years ago while on a business trip to the area. The piece is in excellent condition given its age. These were approximately 40-50 years old when I purchased them so they have seen a good bit of history. They have a heavy patina on them from the years they have witnessed. Dimensions are approximately 7"x8".
