868. Description: A vintage antique Omani teak wood and brass storage chest. Purchased in a Muscat Souk while on assignment developing the environmental standards for the country some 40 years ago. The piece was some 40-50 years old when I bought it. It is adorned with brass fixtures, peacocks and studs of various types. The chest is in very good condition for its age and has seen a good bit of history. Given its uniqueness, It as been a very special part of my Omani collection since I acquired it.
